If you are a follower of Jesus, everything you say and do reflects on Him. Be careful and thoughtful about how you use social media.
Talking Points:
- Tip #1: Don’t make assumptions. People can present a false picture of themselves on social media so be careful about making judgments regarding someone’s profile. John 2:25
- Tip #2: It’s a public forum so be careful what you say and how you say it. Don’t say something that you can’t take back.
- Tip #3: Words can hurt or help. Make sure what you post encourages others and avoid being divisive. As Christians, we represent Jesus. Ephesians 4:29
- Tip #4: Don’t seek fulfillment on social media. Your real value comes from Jesus, not from likes and followers.
