So many people struggle with identity issues, but followers of Jesus should know the source of their worth.

Talking Points:

  • Many people allow themselves to be defined by the wrong things, and it can be destructive. Jesus warned us about how we measure our lives. Luke 12:15
  • At the end of the day, a follower of Jesus is measured by his or her relationship with God. God gets to set your identity.
  • The Bible says that anyone who trusts in Jesus has the “right to become” a child of God. That right is based on the work and worth of Jesus, not on the efforts of any person. John 1:12
  • A follower of Jesus find continued value in honoring God and helping others to follow him. That’s called a “Full Circle” pursuit of God, and it gives life true purpose.
