Are you ignorant to the gaming world and wonder if it's safe for your kids?

Key Points:

  • There are some dangers that parents need to be aware of when it comes to video games. As with any online community, there is a risk for predators. There are also people online who aren’t aware of what they’re saying and how it could affect a young person.
  • What it comes down to is that parents can’t afford to be hands-off. Find ways to educate yourself, whether it be from experience or talking to other parents. As a parent, it’s your job to do your research.
  • Watch your kids’ heart. Watch if they are treating others differently or talking differently. Games can have a big impact on a young person, so it’s important to be aware of their actions.

Quote This:

Deuteronomy 6:6-8 And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today. Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up. Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders.
