Does the Bible tell us that we have to wear masks? No, but it does speak to matters of conscience.

Talking Points:

  • The Bible speaks to some issues very clearly-those are black and white issues. But other issues are grey because the Bible doesn’t take a clear stand. Romans 14:1
  • Extend grace in the grey areas so you can take a stand in the black and white. Romans 14:12-13,19
  • Wearing masks is a grey issue-it’s a matter of conscience. Some people will wear masks and that’s okay. Others won’t but that doesn’t mean their sinning.

  5. Read Romans 14:19. How will you incorporate this verse into the mask wearing debate?
  6. Is there a step you need to take based on today’s topic?
