Learn some challenging statistics about just how prevalent pornography and sex trafficking are in our culture.
Talking Points:
- 85% of young men and nearly half of young women watch porn regularly. This means many of us are struggling with or have struggled with the same sins or sin patterns.
- Many people who work in the pornography or “adult entertainment” industry are working against their will. Many were lured with the promise of quick, easy money. Some were even tricked with drugs that numbed them and made them open to questionable decisions. In essence, consuming pornographic material will, in short order, equate to support of sex trafficking. The demand for pornography helps fuel the sex trafficking industry.
