What do you value the most in life? Maybe it's your phone or your car. Well, the Bible says that people matter the most in life. They matter to God, and they should matter to us.

God teaches us that the most important things in the world are other people. Really, the most important things in the world are your relationships. Your relationship with God and your relationships with others are what you need to value the most.

Loving God and others is the most important thing you can do.
Think about your responsibilities as a student. Getting good grades are important. Getting your first job is important. But the most important thing is other people.

1 John 4:7-8 Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

God is all about relationships. He allowed his Son to die so that he could have a relationship with you. And he wants you to experience deep relationships with others. As a teenager take the opportunity to value your relationships and invest in them.

Develop meaningful relationships.
You probably know lots of people. And you may have lots of friends. But the Bible doesn’t want you to just have a lot of friends, but to have deep friendships.

Proverbs 18:24 There are “friends” who destroy each other, but a real friend sticks closer than a brother.

God wants you to have meaningful relationships that last a lifetime. A real friend is there for you at all times. So, don’t just spend your time hanging out with friends and talking about stuff that doesn’t matter. Make people your priority, and develop your relationships.
