God did not design for men to do life alone. The story of David shows us that men are fueled by dependency on other warriors.
Key Points:
- There’s more to real manhood than being fierce. Fierceness by itself is dangerous – it leads to men who are reckless, impulsive and even cruel. As men of God, we must recognize our dependency on others.
- Godly men have three dependencies: God, God’s word, God’s people.

Psalm 119:9-10 (ESV) How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!
