Read along in our "Chapter a Day" Bible plan as we cover Matthew 22 and the Greatest Commandment.
Key Points:
- Because the religious elite rejected Jesus, Christianity went out to become a belief system for everyone. God’s intent was to broaden the scope of the Kingdom of God.
- The entire law is summed up in the “greatest commandments.” If you don’t understand these basics, you won’t understand anything about God or living a Christian life.
- Having a proper relationship with God causes us to live properly in relationship with other people.
- The greatest question we can ask is: “Who is Jesus?”
Quote This:
Matthew 22:37-39 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
