Help your kids discover how they can live a new life in Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5:17

Talking Points:

  • The world is full of temptation, especially for teenagers. Honoring God means we needs to exhibit self-control over our emotions.
  • Part of our new nature is the Holy Spirit living in us that helps us to say “No” to things that don’t honor God. He gives us the strength to live for God.
  • Just because we are made new doesn’t mean we won’t still struggle with sin. When we mess up, we can repent to God and move forward. God is forgiving and wants to restore us every time we make a mistake. Our job is to learn from our mistakes, avoid temptation, and keep our eyes focused on Jesus.
