Even when we mess up God still loves us, and gives us a second chance!

Isaiah was a prophet during a time when God’s people were disobedient and weren’t listening to God. Isaiah warned the people that God was sad and angry that his children were being naughty, and if they didn’t change their ways, God would have to punish them to get them back on track. Isaiah warned that another nation would come to rule over them. But, Isaiah also shared a message of hope for the people. Isaiah spoke of a future blessing who would come to save them all. Do you know who the blessing was? JESUS! Isaiah is famous for talking about the Prince of Peace who would come to pay for the sins of the people. Jesus didn’t come on the scene until hundreds of years later but Isaiah’s message was clear- a Savior was coming to save them! Kids, God is a forgiving God who gives us a second chance and he did it by sending Jesus! Just like it was true for the Israelites, when we mess up, God still forgives us and loves us.
