The Bible says husbands are the leaders in the home but you married someone who doesn't want to lead spiritually. What are you supposed to do?

Talking Points:

  • Spiritual leadership is about encouraging and directing others in a pursuit of God. Your kids need spiritual direction and parents are the ones that need to give it. If your husband isn’t interested in God, then you have to step in and lead in this area, for the sake of your kids. Deuteronomy 6:6-9
  • Even though your husband is an unbeliever, they can still lead your family in other ways. It might be in work ethic, finances, home projects, or coaching sports. You should look for every opportunity to build your husband up as the leader.
  • Don’t waste your energy being bitter and resentful. Pray for your husband and lead your kids in a pursuit of God. 1 Corinthians 7:13-14
