Good parents "study" their kids and make sure they adjust their parenting to fit the unique qualities of each child.

Talking Points:

  • Take time to study each of your children. God has created each of your kids uniquely-what works for one kid will likely not work for another. Psalm 139:13-16
  • Avoid being a reactive parent. If you’re too emotional, you should take a time out and calm down before responding to your kids. Remember, you are teaching your kids more by what you model than what you say. Ephesians 6:4
  • Kids need room to fail. Instead of trying to protect your kids from every mistake, you should turn them into teachable moments that prepare them for the future.
