Mentoring is the secret sauce of Christian parenting. But who should mentor as your kids get older?

Talking Points:

  • Ages 3-9, Begin having conversations with your kids regularly. Make this family mentoring time into a habit for you and your child. This establishes a foundation for your child to build a biblical worldview.
  • Ages 9-12, At this stage they should also have someone apart from you that mentors them as well. This can be an older sibling or even just another Christian kid that is a couple of years older.
  • Ages 13-18, At this point your kid should be ready to become a mentor. If they have been involved with mentoring since a young age, they should be familiar with the content on pursueGOD and how mentoring works.
