Bad language. Gun violence. Sexuality. Does God care about what we watch on Netflix?
Talking Points:
- Just because your age says you are allowed to watch rated R movies or play mature games doesn’t mean you should. 1 Corinthians 10:23
- Generally, there are two arguments. One says to expose yourself to as much as possible so you can remain relevant and educated in the hopes of gaining influence with non-believers. The other says you should refrain from anything that would cause you to stumble or that doesn’t pull you toward Christ. Philippians 4:8
- If your parents have certain rules for you regarding entertainment then you should obey those rules. Where your parents leave it up to you, prayerfully consider if your entertainment choices are beneficial to your life.
