When college athletes are recruited, the program is incredibly intentional about the relationship. Christian athletes should view teammates the same way.

- Don’t let your status or schedule keep you from pursuing meaningful relationships. Jesus modeled this with the woman at the well. John 4:1-15
- Some of your teammates might feel like outcasts, but Jesus still wants a relationship with them. You might be the one to introduce them to the source of life.
- After you initiate and make a connection, be ready to direct others to the Bible or to Jesus.
