R.G. LeTourneau - a successful businessman and entrepreneur - went well beyond the typical "tithe" and changed his world.
Talking Points:
- LeTourneau is quoted as saying, “It’s not how much of my money I give to God, but how much of God’s money I keep for myself.”
- The challenge for us is whether or not we are going to choose to be heavenly minded, or whether we are going to continue to put ourselves first and others second.
- If we set up our budgets with at minimum at 10% margin of non-dedicated funds that are always “available” to help someone else, then when those opportunities arise, we are ready and willing to invest in the Lord’s work for others.
