Good coaches have clear expectations for their athletes. Great coaches start with creating an experience.
Talking Points:
- When coaches create an expectation before creating an experience, they take the joy out of sports.
- When you create an expectation, your players HAVE to play for you. When you create an experience, your players GET to play for you.
- When your athletes play with joy and passion, you’ll get the most out of them. Like Jesus, your leadership has to be transformational, not transactional. John 15:9-12
Quote This:
“Rules without relationship equals rebellion.”
