Pornography is a public health crisis much like drug abuse or smoking. Left unchecked, it will destroy your marriage and potentially your life.
Talking Points:
- Porn makes sex a one person thing. It becomes all about how to gratify yourself and not at all about thinking how your spouse should be a part of that gratification.
- Porn breaks marital intimacy. Sex should be a two-person thing where two people gratify one another. Porn removes the bonding aspect sex is designed to have. 1 Corinthians 7:3-4
- Porn damages your spouse’s self-worth. In the back of their mind, they’re thinking about how they don’t measure up to the people you’d rather look up online. 1 Corinthians 6:15-20
