Do you love God or do you love your stuff?

Talking Points:

  • The world is not impressed if Christians are not different in regard to their stuff and in their willingness to give to those in need. If Christians love their stuff the same way the world loves their stuff, we can forget our witness. 1 John 3:17
  • We should hold our stuff loosely; when you see another believer in need, be ready to respond. We do not need to hold tightly to our earthly possessions because we will one day inherit all things as co-heirs with Christ. 1 Timothy 6:9
  • The desire to be rich will lead to destruction. However, a life of generosity will lead to more of God’s blessing. Matthew 19:24
