Our giving as Christians should be regular, proportionate and sacrificial.
Talking Points:
- Giving should be regular. Whether that’s monthly, bi-weekly, or every Sunday, coming up with a schedule that works for you and sticking to it is a great way to worship God with your giving.
- Giving should be proportionate. This means that what you give should be proportionate to what you make. 2 Corinthians 8:7
- Giving should be sacrificial. Your giving should challenge you or “hurt” a little or require sacrificing in one area of life to give to God. Matthew 6:21

- Read 2 Corinthians 8:7. How have you seen God bless you in your life? How can you grow in the “act of giving”?
- Read Matthew 6:21. Where does the bulk of your money go now? What does that say about your treasure or priorities? How will you give more sacrificially in the future?
