From the Podcast:

The Bible teaches that there is only one God.

Key Points:

  • It’s important to point out that the word Trinity is not found in the Bible, but the idea of the Trinity is found throughout the Scriptures.
  • The Bible teaches that there is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 44:6, 8).
  • This matters because it means that there is only one God to worship. Anyone else making similar claims is false. Because God is the creator and sustainer of all things, we must turn to him alone with our greatest needs, fears, and struggles as well as with our greatest joys.

Quote This:

Deuteronomy 6:4  Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.
