Spiritual disciplines are just a fancy way to say "habits". And there are five of them that every Christian student should start practicing.
Talking Points:
- The 5 Habits:
- Read the Bible. Fill your mind with God’s truth, not just junk from the world. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
- Pray. You have to talk to God or how can he really be your friend? 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
- Connection: Have some Christian friends that encourage you in your pursuit of God. Galatians 6:1-2
- Giving. Be generous with your giving. It’s all God’s money anyways! 2 Corinthians 8:7
- Disciple making. Jesus told us to go and make disciples. Matthew 28:19-20
